After three years postdoc training at Prof. J. Andrew McCammon's
group, NIH center of National Biomedical Computation Resource and San
Diego Supercomputer Center at the University of California San Diego, I
joined BSU as an assistant professor of Chemistry in fall 2010.
I am a computational chemist operating at the interface of chemistry,
biology, physics, pharmacology, mathematics and computer science. In
my lab, we pursue a broad range of cutting-edge and interdisciplinary
computational research projects. We are particularly interested in
driving translational research and advancing novel methods in the
emerging areas such as renewable energy and molecular targeted
therapeutics through close collaboration with experimentalists. Powered by massive petaflops and GPU computing technologies, we
perform large-scale computer simulations at the forefront of chemical
and biomedical discovery.
